Simpson-fied!
I have a sneaking supposition I've already posted this before, but after several minutes of looking, I think I'm good to post.
Here are popular characters that have been drawn in the Simpsons art style (although most seem to be superheroes of some sorts). Here are a few of my favorites:

I'm Back
Alright, so it has been several months since I have last but my tiny splotch of garbage posts on the interwebs, and I apologize. I've had a few computer snafus along with just being lazy with the holidays. Hopefully though, I will get back into the swing of things and post much more regularly. To make up for lost time, here are a few things to help you pick out some last minute presents to waste your time and money:
Linux Inside Stickers:
So we've all seen the "Intel Inside" or "Runs on Windows" stickers, but here is a way to truly express your nerdy-ness and computer porous to all that choose to glance at your computer palm rest. Not only are these great stocking stuffers, but it's a great way to stick it to Steve Jobs and Gatesy-Boy.

We all know that nerdy kid who just has the coolest gadgets. We've all marvaled at his amazing Star Wars USB flash drive or his Jellyfish lamp and been perplexed how he finds such amazing devices. Well, now you too can rock a LED Beltbuckle proudly with this helpful site. Enjoy.

What's that? You have all these awesome trinkets to show off, but nothing to wear? Well, step right up and feast your nude body on these fine threads. The apparel here is the perfect way to turn youself into a walking billboard of geekness.

Cotton Factory:
Unlike Jinx, this site may not have as many nerdy shirts, but it does have quite a large variety of more fashionable shirts. Also, another big plus is that many of the shirts are quite cheap, so that after you spend all your cash on usless gifts, you can treat yourself with a new Pee Wee Herman tee.
So although this post seemed like nothing but a large advertisement, rest assured that I have not sold out...yet.

iTunes Genius Review
So Apple has released a new iTunes program called Genius. Basically, what it does is you can tell it a song you like, and it will find other songs like it. It seems to have a lot of potential, but it comes with a few flaws. Now, I haven't been using it for that long, so some problems may not of been discovered yet.
First things first, to use it, you first must let it access and send Apple your library information. This not only bugged me from a privacy point of view, but took forever. I have approximately 7000 songs (30 gbs) in my library, and Genius went through everyone, which took about 15-20 of painfully computer lagging minutes. It then uploads it to one of Apple's mysterious servers for analysis. At this point, it got a little fuzzy to what happend, because I assumed that Apple recognize certin songs and other songs like it and sends that info to your computer, but I'm still not sure. For all I know, this could just be a big scam by Apple to keep a eye on it's users (I wouldn't be surprised).
As for the privacy part of it, it kind of fails at life. It explains (and quite a lot) that it will perioticly upload your library to the server to keep Genius up to date, but only while Genius is enabled. If you would like to keep your library a secret from prying eyes, you can disable it. Although I'm not sure whats keeping Apple from just looking in anyways.
After getting it set up, and fixing a few problems of my own (a while back, iTunes crashed on me and I lost a lot of songs, and had to re-add them), I enabled it and set it up. It took a little while to find a song that it would work with. I went through at least 3 'till I found one that it could use, and it was odd, because they where big name bands (You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC, Walk This Way by Aerosmith just to name two.) After it found a song that it liked, it imedetly found 25 other songs like it, and it was fairly accurete. I tryied a few type of songs and genres (Emo, Rock, 70's, etc.) and it always found songs along those guide lines.
I think with a little polishing, and a disregard for your privacy, this could turn into a very useful app. All in all, if you have a lot of songs on your computer that you haven't listen too, or even know exist, this is a great way to discover new music. (6/10)

Lego Video Games
Alright, so nothing rocks my socks more then LEGO's and classic video games. So, when I saw these old video game screen shots remade with LEGO's, I almost lost it. Enjoy, because I sure did.
New "Most Viewed" YouTube Video
When did this happen?!? Look at the top viewed video. It's not "Evolution of Dance" like it's been since the beginning of time, it's "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne. I don't know about you, but this is kind of disturbing. It means that the once nerd infested video sharing site has been taken over by pre-teen girls, or nerds with bad taste in music.

Blog Stuff, MF3, and Pointless Links!
Alright, so I added some new things to the blog. One of them is a "Followers" thing, and I don't really know what it does. So if you figure it out, tell me. Also, I added a RSS feed reader so that you can easily subscribe to my posts, for the two people who actually read this drivel.
So I upgraded to Mozilla Firefox 3 today. I was holding off until Firebug worked with it, and they just recently fixed it so it does. MF3 is pretty sweet. I haven't really noticed anything majorly new with it as compared with Mozilla Firefox 2, but I haven't even been using it for 24 hours yet. One neat thing that I like is that you can do full page zooming (unlike just text zooming as in MF2) and the ability to save your open tabs when you close MF3 and have them automatically reopen with you relaunch the browser.
Now, time for the part you really care about, the useless links! This is one of the oldest bookmarks I have. I stumbled across it while updating to Mozilla Firefox 3. It serves almost no purpose then to waste hours and hours of your time. If you don't believe me, look at the clock, then go to this site and start to play around with it, then look back at the clock. Yeah, I know, it's crazy. It is also a great link to use in school, because if you get caught, it's educational!

I love him.
Also, I've been working on a new map. It has to be fairly small, because it's going to use the new play mode I talked about a while ago.
Right now, I'm just playing around with the theme of the map. I want to do more of a mountain/lumberyard theme for this map, because I'm sick of all the dust and dreary color pallets. I haven't really decided on what the map is going to look like, so feel free to leave you two cents bellow.
P.S. YouTube is now letting you customize the way the videos look. It's pretty rad.

Alright, like my life, I'm a little late to this party, but it's pretty freaking sweet. It's called Hulu, and it's a video streaming site. It has an excellent selection of TV shows and movies to pick from, and it's player is slick and easy to use. One nice thing is that it runs from inside your browser, so you don't have to download software, like that other site. Oh, and if your wondering, it's totally legal.
One really nice thing is that it lets you embed it's videos:

Map Update
Alright, so the madness of the Heavy update is over, and the new weapons are out. I think it's about time I sit down and remake Melee_Volcano to make sure that it correctly disables the right weapons. While I was at it, I thought I would make a few changes. It shouldn't take too long, just about a day or so. I'm still working on the other types of maps. This is what I thought I would change:
1. Make the lava so that you can fall into it, not just fall on top of it.
2. Make it so that you can land and ride the rocks.
3. Make the pit rounder.
4. Add proper terrain texturing and ground displacement.
5. Fix some props not showing up; having odd shadows.
6. Make a better skybox. The last one was just slapped together.
7. Fix spawn dirt mounds. Some players complained of getting stuck when touching it.
8. Make posts across lava a little bigger near cap point.
Post a comment if you want me to add anything else, or leave something the way it is. Or if you just want to leave a grammatically incorrect rant about how map makers are the devil.

New Map Mode
About a day ago, I came upon a new map mode. It's called "Keep Away", and it looks like it may have a lot of potential.
The way it works is two teams fight over one flag, and the team holding the flag at the end gets a point. It's a novel new play type, and right now, I'm just working out some bugs and trying to figure out the best way to implement it. I have done a few test runs, and it's best suited for a small map. At this point, I'm torn between just adding it to a existing map (Crisscross?) or making a whole new map altogether.
Also, I've been having major problems with the tube map. I have spent many a sleepy night trying to get the tube to spin right, the player to not get pushed through the wall, or stopping the whole tube from spinning. It's turning into a major problem, and it may just be one of those quickie maps where I make it, and throw it up on a server when it's a slow night (for those who where on for Sniper_Whatever know what I'm talking about). I'll keep playing with it, but it may turn into one of those good ideas that where never able to work (of which I have plenty).

Frets on Fire
I've known about this game for a while, but never bothered to download it and play it. Then, in a sleepy stupor, and in a sudden urge to live out my rock star fantasy, I directed my browser over to the site and downloaded it. The game is called Frets on Fire, and it's basically a Guitar Hero game for the computer. One thing that really rocks my socks is that instead of using a guitar (or a cheap plastic impersonator), you use your keyboard.
The way you use it is you hold your keyboard like you would with a guitar, with the F1-F5 keys in your left hand, and your right hand on the strum (enter) key (So your keyboard is upside down). It works better then I imagined, because I thought I would contract carpel tunnel after playing for a little while. Lucky, the game seems to sense that, so it only includes three songs with the game, all of which are indie (although there is a huge online community that are converting songs for this game).
All in all, if you don't mind looking like a tool, it's a fun game to play. And the indie songs aren't that bad. A couple of times I missed a note, but I think it was because my keys where sticking from rocking out too hard. Check it out, and if you beat any songs with +4 stars on amazing difficulty, don't worry about looking like a tool, because you already are one.

New TF2 Models
If you have been keeping up with the updates for the Heavy class, then you no doubt already know about the new Arena game play type. Now, I don't really care about the new game play, as much as the new maps. One thing in particular that I'm really looking forward to is the new models that Valve shows in the maps screen shots.
For the longest time (and still now) I have wanted to make my own models. The biggest problem I'm having is just importing the models into game. No matter what I have tried, it just comes up with a giant ERROR. I dabble with different model types and programs every now and then, but to no prevail. I think one of these days, I'm just going to snap and spend all day working on the problem 'till I figure out a way to make it stop being so homo.
I have also been playing with the Spore Creature Creator. I played with it when it first came out, but just recently I have really been starting to get into it. It's pretty mind blowing all the different things that the programmers made. I had my hand in a few code projects, where me and some friends would get together (typically at a LAN party) and write a program. We would spend hours and hours bent over our keyboards, and would only come up with a crappy poker game or some other measly piece of code. When I sit down with spore, and see all of the things that are in the game, its amazing. Normally a game doesn't really phase me. When I've played other games (with a few acceptions), I've never really appreciated all the work the programmers did, but for some reason, I really noticed with Spore. Maybe I was just in a noticing mood, or maybe it was because I was making a walking potato and the game was encouraging it.

Starting On CTF_Tube
Since there was a huge turnout at the polls, it was difficult for me to decide on which map to make, but it looks like the tube one pulled through barely. So, I'll start on that. Hopefully, it won't take me as long to make as it did Dodge_Orange.
Also, I'm going to try something new this time, instead of just telling you about the map, I'll try to post pictures and maybe even a few video walkthroughs to give you the idea on how it's coming along.

Speedpost: Wordpress
Alright, I'm just writing a quick little blurb, so ignore any grammar problems. I've been working with Wordpress to get everything working right and to see if it's a program that I really want to use. I like it, but I major problem is that it won't let me embed everything I want. They went the really simple route to make it easier, and it works well for people who don't really know anything, but for people who do, like me, it kind of screws us over. Good example, I was trying to embed some videos, and it turns out that it won't let me because it's not YouTube or Google video. It's really weird too, because it has a whole section where it allows you to add and edit HTML code. So that right now it the only reason that I haven't switched. To tell the truth, I like Wordpress better. It has more features, and looks much better, but in the end, it would limit me to what I can do, and that is just too major for me to switch.

The thing is, I probably won't announce a time, I'll just do it when ever I feel like it. Mostly because I am almost never able to get on at the time I pick, ironically. So if you want, leave a request in comments and I'll send out a invite when I am doing it. It should be some time soon.
Also, I've been playing with Wordpress. Its okay, but it has its flaws. For one, I'm having a big problem with arranging text a pictures. It likes to bunch them all in the same spot making it almost imposable to read. In the last post, I said that it let people import from other blogs, the problem is that every post requires at least some work to get it right again. Only one video showed up, and I just explained what happened to photos. So it will probably be something I'll dabble with for a little while, and if something pops up that I really like, I may switch. But for now, I'm sticking with Blogger.

Wordpress
I haven't really had a major problem with Blogger, but I have been looking around for a different blogging client. I have been looking closely at Wordpress, as they seem to be the best competitor/alternative. Here are some of the nice things I like about Wordpress:
1. Integrated stat tracker. Right now I'm having to use a third party one, and it just shows how many hits total.
2. More themes. I like the flexibility.
3. It has the URL I want, for the most part.
4. It doesn't seem to be that hard to switch over. I'll do some test runs before I do, just to make sure that I don't lose anything. But for the most part, it seems that all I have to do is just link to this site.
5. It just seems to have more features than Blogger. Although one thing I don't like is that Wordpress occasionally show ad's on it's users blogs.
Let me know what you think in comments, not that you really care. Oh, and I hope Blogger doesn't 'accidentally' delete my account for talking about a competitor.

Funny Pictures and Map Update
Found these pictures. Dey be funny:
Also, this doesn't make any since if you think about it:
If it permanently removes hair, like it claims, why wouldn't you just use it the first 60 days, then send it to the company and get you money back? I mean, I know it's a online ad, but still. They could of put just a little thought into it.
Also, I've been working on Dodge_Orange. Like I said before, it should be done in a little bit. I'll post pictures soon.

Funny GIF Compilation
I found this on a Roman website. I love the second to last one with the panda.
Been Busy
Like the title says, I've been busy doing my own shenanigans. It's been a week since my last post, so I was feeling the squeeze of guilt. I've been working on Dodge_Orange. I've just working out the bugs and what not. It should be done sometime soon, but I'm not releasing a date just yet. Mainly, I'm having problems with players getting flung out of the map from the push triggers. It's not a big problem, it just takes time to fix.
I've also been looking at Bioshock. I didn't get it when it came out, because I had the Orange Box to entertain me. But a friend just got it, and I played a little of it and really liked it. When it first came out, I got the demo and played it, but wasn't wowed enough to plunk down $50.00. Now that the price has dropped, I might pick it up. Although once I get it, I'll feel obligated to upgrade my graphics card, and thats another $300 - $400.
Finally, I thought I would throw up a free program for waiting so patiently for this post. As like everything else, it's been out for a while, I've enjoyed it, bla bla bla...Here's the link:
http://www.joost.com/
Rundown: It's a free program that streams TV to your computer. And it's legal, if your into that sort of thing. Enjoy.
Oh, and I went back to the old font. The new one was giving me problems, and I was sick of spending 20 mins a post to fix them.

Linux For Your iPod
I was digging through my bookmarks, and I found a old one that I found really useful. Before I throw it up here, I'll bore you a little with some personal history, tho.
About a year ago I went on a open-source kick, where I was switching everything to open a open source alternative. I was duel booting Linux, all my programs where open source, and I even tried to code a new operating system for my phone. While on the kick, I found a cool site to get a new OS for your MP3 player. It's called Rockbox, and it is an awesome way to bring some life to an old player that you may not use anymore.
Basically, its a open alternative to the Apple OS. It allows you to get any program you want on your iPod. For instance, I installed Doom, Tetris, and a few visualizations to watch while playing my music. Be warned though, the iPod can get hot after awhile of playing around with the programs. The nice thing is that you can always just switch back to the old OS if you don't like the new one (I frequently switch back and forth on a whim with out ever having any problems, like having to re-add music). And, as always, I assume no responsibility for what may happen to your MP3 player. Check the link for excellent walk-throughs and downloads.

Also, I know this looks like a sold out, but rest assured, I didn't. I just really like this site.
-NOTE- I apologize for the small font. Blogger is acting homo.

Be back in about a little less than a week. I know it's going to be hard with out your daily amount of crappy blog posts, but you'll make it. Just open up notepad and mash your keyboard with your forehead and you should get your fix.

New Style
I've been talking about it for a while now, and I finally changed the template. I didn't do anything to radical, yet. Mainly, I just changed up the colors. Let me know what you think in comments!
I Mean It This Time
I said a while ago that I would try to get back into making maps, and it kind of fell through. Mainly, because I didn't have any time to work on them. Now, I have hopefully cleared up my schedule, and should have more time to work on my maps.
On a different note, I have been looking very closely at the new iPhone 3G. I really want to get one, but don't know if I can justify it. It would be a lot of money upfront, and a lot of money every month, and I'm just not sure that I really need it. I think I'm just swept up in all the hype that is going on right now, and in a week or two won't even care.
Of course, please me comments, even if they are just jargon. I love to hear back from my reader (Yeah, I know I put it as singular).
Also, I'm trying out a new type of font, just to liven up the place. I am also working on a new look. If you have any suggestions or comments, please let me know.

New URL Stuff
If you ever read the first post I made, I mentioned that I would probably change my URL of my blog to something a little easier to remember if I ever really kept posting. Today, I looked for a easier one. I didn't find one that I liked, but I did find some really strange blogs.
http://www.jestersblog.blogspot.com/
http://www.jester.blogspot.com/
I love how the most recent post was four years ago. Oh well, I think I'll leave it the way it is just for ease of use. If I changed it, I would have to go and redo a bunch of links and garbage like that.

New Map Update
Nothing new to really say. I am starting to really work on a new map. Its that tube map. Right now, I'm just playing around to see if it is even possible. Occasionally, the map will fling the player out of the map, resulting them in getting stuck. I think I can solve the problem by just killing them if they escape.

Re-Tooled Comment Section
Okay, I never really sat down and played with all the settings until just now. Up till now, you always had to sign in to post a comment. Well I fixed it and made it so that you can just leave comments willy nilly. I still left a word prompt to stop spammers, but thats the only hoop you have to jump through. If it gets too much of a problem tho (I don't know why it would), I'll change it back.
New Maps
I haven't posted in a little while. The only really new thing is that I'm adding another map to the list. This one is going to be like a hangout for people to go and just chill. It'll probably have some custom textures, some songs, and a few other things to keep people interested, like a dance floor or something. I'll probably start on it after the tube one. Oh, and if I can get the textures compressed, after the porn map.

Dodge Orange
Okay, I started to work on this map a while ago. I released just a test map to see how it would handle with a bunch of people playing. Also, it allowed me to see some of the problems that may arise, because I had never played on a type of map like such. Then for a while, I kind of forgot about it. Now, due to popular demand, I decided to pick it back up. It's really mostly done. I just have to arrange the different levels and tweak the bugs a little. So that looks like the next map thats going to come out, as the outcome of the porn map is kind of looking bleak.

Poll Results
Alright, the poll results are in. And its clear who the winner is. The problem is, the logistics of a map with almost all custom textures is that the file size is going to be astronomical. I ran a few test, and with only about ten custom textures, the map size almost doubled. So it's going to be tricky as to how to incorporate almost five times that amount of textures. I'll keep working at it, but be warned, this may not be possible, or something worth while if the player has to wait 20 minutes to download the map.

Got the Tube Thing Working
Yeah, don't know if I have to really elaborate here. I got the tube thing working so that it spins around. I just have to fix a few bugs (like right now, if you get caught somewhere that causes the tube to stop spinning, it kills you. Now, thats not such a bad thing. It stops people form using exploits, the problem is that it can sometimes kill you for no reason, and it really sucks.)
Also, I've been collecting porn for a little while now to use in the porno map. So, if you want to see your special beauty in the map, put it in comments or post it here.
I got nothing else to say, except Ima try to get back into the swing of things a start to produce more maps. Its been awhile since my last map and people are starting to forget my name.

Nothing New
I haven't posted in a while. Mainly 'cause I don't have any thing to say. I did start on a new map. Well, played around with a new type of map. I was going for a big tube that turned and players fought inside of it. I'm playing around with getting the tube to turn right.
Although, I probably will make the porno map first, 'cause thats the way the poll is turning out. Its a close vote, but I think porn won. So, if you guys have any pics that you want me to post in the map, throw them up here (and by here, I mean comments).
Also, I have no idea how the porno map is going to be laid out as. It can't be to difficult/complex, because the players are going to have a long download time with all the textures anyways. But I want it to be interesting, not just a big room with boobs everywhere (although, thats not such a bad thing). So, we'll see. I'll figure out something...
*Psst!* This is when you step in with suggestions.

Learn How To Do Anything
I've known about this site for a long time. Its a neat little place to kill some time. And as a bonus, you might actually learn something. So I thought I'd throw it up here.
http://www.howcast.com/
Basically, think of it as YouTube for how-to videos. If you can think of something that can be taught, then they have it. In 15 minutes, I learned some public speaking tips, how to outwit carnies, and the quickest way to put on a condom.

Oh...
I just noticed that Caged linked here from the SNiGS Official Site. I was noticing that I was getting a lot more hits that usual. I just thought that some major porn site had shut down and people were getting misdirected here. That, or I had a stalker...
I Added a Poll
Hey, in case your blind, or just don't like looking around a web page, I added a poll to the right of the blog. Go there and vote. Now.
New Pyro Achievements
The new pyro achievements came out today. I wasn't as excited about them as I was with the medic because I never play as a pyro. One neat thing is that they made it so that you don't have to get every achievement to get all the new weapons. I'm not sure how I feel about this, because on the one hand, I won't farm all the achievements and actually get them in a real game like they were intended. But on the other hand, I will feel in-superior to the other players if I don't have all the achievements or just plain annoyed that I don't have them all. Oh well, it's really not that important. After awhile you have to sit back and realize that it's all just a game meant to entertain the player.

Wow, What a Lack of Posts
Wow, I just realized that I never posted through the whole month of May. Not that it matters. Or that I really needed to make a post about it. It's just another place where you can leave your thoughts and opinions. To bad there isn't a easy and affective way to display your thoughts in sentence form. If only there was a way...
Oh, and just in case you didn't catch that desperate cry for attention, leave a comment.
And if you are reading this sentence, you are legally bound to leave a comment.
And I am really tired, and will probably delete this post in the morning.

Getting Back into the Swing of Things
I haven't made a map in a while (like almost a month) cause Ive been crazy busy, so Ima try to be more productive than sitting around all day looking at por- er, I mean...working... If you guys have any suggestions for maps, I don't mind. Mainly, I'm just doing this for the comments. Yes, I care that much about comments.
A few ideas I have:
1. A follow up to that crappy sniper map I made.
2. A CP or CTF type map where you play in a giant spinning tube.
3. Melee Volcano V3
4. A map with nothing but porn textures (this one is always popular).
5. What ever the hell I slap together one night in a sleepy stupor.

SPORE Creature Creator Out
SPORE's Creator is out and in the wild. Unless you've been living in a cave, on Mars, with you eyes shut and your fingers in your ears, you've probably heard about Will Right's new sim game called SPORE. The game lets you play god in all the normal ways that you'd expect, with one twist. It lets you create you animals from scratch. To help fanboys cope with the wait, they have released a new demo allowing you to make your creatures. Prepare to see some really messed up things.
I personally am on a quest to make a boob like creature. Wish me luck!

Haven't Posted in a While
Hey guys,
I haven't posted in a while, as the title says. I'll try to get back in to the swing of things and update this thing more often.
Goal - 1 post every two days.
We'll see how its goes.
Also, I really appreciate comments. It lets me know that some one is really reading this thing, and I'm not just doing this for a ego boost.
